Rebekah Lewis
Rebekah Lewis is a registered nurse and lactation consultant with experience in Antepartum, Med/Surg, Mother-Baby, NICU, Newborn Nursery, Postpartum, Women’s GYN, Women’s Health, and Lactation. She is a strong advocate for maternal and infant care improvements. Her passion stemmed from her journey as a mother and experiences. She experienced struggles while providing human milk to her child. This led her to realize that parents needed more access to resources regarding infant feeding.
Rebekah believes in holistic care and assisting the whole family to help address more than just the one particular concern. Her goals are to help improve the infant feeding disparities and rates within the BIPOC community. She has started Little Ones Lactation Services to help provide a wide range of services to help advocate and improve maternal and infant mortality rates.
Rebekah earned her certification as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners in 2019. Rebekah earned certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice Healthy Children’s Center for Breastfeeding in 2017. She has been a Registered Nurse (RN) since 2013. Rebekah is BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certified. Rebekah received her Bachelors of Science from Advent Health University.
